Recommend it for families with kids
The room we had was spacious and impeccably clean, much more than I expected while traveling. The breakfast was phenomenal, a smorgasbord of options that made mornings a feast instead of a chore.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but what I got in return was worth it, no questions asked.

We had a lovely time exploring nearby parks and the subway was just a short walk away. The area is calm and safe, and our little ones loved the variety of foods on the shopping street, especially the pizza!
My kids wished the elevator worked better – climbing all those stairs was a bit much.

I enjoyed my stay at Avenue Plaza, mainly due to the stunning view of the Brooklyn Bridge from my room. The room had a cozy vibe, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent, with healthy options that impressed me. However, the cleanliness of the room needed attention. I noticed some areas that felt overlooked during cleaning. Also, the staff's attitude could be a bit hit or miss. while some were friendly, others were a bit rude. Overall, I loved the atmosphere but hope they improve their room maintenance and staff training.
